Greetings!
My name is Nathaniel Agot and welcome to my website!
For starters, I’m a photographer from the San Francisco Bay Area and have held various positions throughout the industry.
Among the earliest of these positions was in a family portrait studio at my local mall. From moving guests in and out of this full-service studio like clockwork, I quickly learned how to engage and direct subjects during shoots. Upon attending San Jose State University to complete my business degree, I was hired as a photojournalist to capture the larger events of the university. Much less subject engagement was required here than in the studio, however, I learned from the spontaneous nature of photojournalism. Photo opportunities here presented themselves no more than once. Anticipating the action and best positioning myself to shoot it was the only way.
Now, my photography career lives on as a freelancer. I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing clients and to be able to produce for them is what keeps it going. Shooting for my own leisure typically includes portraits, still life, and landscapes. Still can’t pick a favorite.
